RGI optimizes production with the new Komori Lithrone G40 Advance

Founded in 1984, RGI has evolved with the times, moving from a simple manufacturing office to a commercial printer equipped with the latest technology. The recent installation of a Komori Lithrone G40 Advance marks a new stage in the company's modernization.

RGI, founded in 1984 and based in Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes (77), continues to modernize with the recent acquisition of a Komori Lithrone G40 Advance 5-color plus varnish press in 75 x 105 cm format. This choice marks an important step in the company's strategy to improve performance while reducing its environmental footprint.

The Lithrone G40 Advance is equipped with numerous automated functions. Among these, the asynchronous automatic plate changer (A-APC) considerably reduces makeready times. Thanks to this technology, printers can manage short runs and fast production cycles more efficiently, a major asset in a sector where reactivity is key. With a printing capacity of 17,200 sheets per hour, the machine ensures increased productivity without compromising on quality.

One of the most innovative aspects of the Lithrone G40 Advance is its eco-friendly features. Thanks to Smart Inking Flow and DC blower the press reduces energy consumption by 18%, a crucial advantage for cutting operating costs. What's more, optimized sheet management, from loading to delivery, reduces paper waste.

With sales set to reach 6 million euros by 2022 and earnings in excess of 10%, RGI had already invested in a Fujifilm JetPress 750S digital press in 2022, confirming its strategy of diversifying between offset and digital printing.
