Born in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche in 1960, Denis Fabrègue joined the family business in 1985, after studying at the École des cadres in Paris. Alongside his brother Emmanuel, he managed the company for almost 35 years. He was initially in charge of administrative and financial management, before taking over joint management of all activities following the death of their father in 1991.
Under their joint leadership, Imprimerie Fabrègue established itself as a major player in the industry, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern management. Denis Fabrègue played an active role in the company's transition until its sale in 2021, marking the end of an era for this historic enterprise.
In addition to his management role, Denis Fabrègue has been involved in numerous local and professional initiatives. He has been an active member of Réseau Entreprendre and a director of the social landlord Dom'Aulim. But it was in motor sport that he left his lasting mark, notably through the Rallye du Pays de Saint-Yrieix, which he chaired.
This rally, which he considered "his baby", illustrates his passion for motor sports and his commitment to the community. On Monday January 13, many tributes poured in on social networks, hailing his dedication and impact in this field.
His brother Emmanuel remembers a reserved but deeply passionate man: "Denis wasn't very demonstrative, but he was committed to everything he did. We worked together for decades, with a rare harmony."
He also praised Denis' strength of character, showing remarkable courage in the face of illness, impressing even his doctors.
