ABSR strengthens its digital park with two new Agfa machines

Digital printer ABSR invests in two large-format Agfa presses to meet the demands of professionals.

ABSR, a digital printer based in Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the Lot-et-Garonne region of France, continues to modernize its machinery. The company, which specializes in large-format printing and generates sales of around 2 million euros, recently welcomed two new pieces of equipment from Belgian manufacturer Agfa: the Jeti Tauro H3300 and the Jeti Condor RTR 5200. These acquisitions are part of a development strategy aimed at meeting the needs of professionals, with solutions combining productivity, quality and versatility.

The Jeti Tauro H3300: productivity and finishing in large format

The Jeti Tauro H3300 replaces the smaller H2500 model previously used by ABSR. Designed for high speeds, this 3.3-meter wide hybrid printer can work on a variety of rigid and flexible substrates. It can also apply full or selective varnish at high speed.

The Jeti Condor RTR 5200, the first to be installed in France

The other new feature, the Jeti Condor RTR 5200 represents a significant step forward for ABSR. Launched last year, this roll-to-roll printer, the first of its type to be installed in France, boasts an impressive print width of 5.2 meters and a maximum speed of 672 m²/hr. It can print on a single roll or on three rolls simultaneously, making it ideal for a variety of applications such as advertising banners, printed textiles or large-format canvas.

A diversified offering for professionals

ABSR caters exclusively to professionals, with an extensive range of products including tarpaulins, rigid substrates such as Dibond or Plexiglas, self-adhesive vinyls, and printed or sublimated textiles. The company also offers digital cutting and garment marking solutions.

These two new Agfa machines enable ABSR to consolidate its position in the large-format market by meeting a wide range of needs, from very large runs to jobs requiring particularly meticulous finishing.

Jean-Michel Rouleau explains: "We've built our offering to meet the specific needs of professionals, especially when they lack the right equipment for certain applications. Working as a subcontractor requires a dual commitment: guaranteeing impeccable deadlines and offering optimum quality. We have also opted for an uncompromising ethic: we never canvass end customers, and concentrate our efforts solely on the demands of professionals."

The new equipment will enable ABSR to increase its production capacity while expanding its range of services.
