Fespa organizers go from strength to strength: the 2026 date is already set

After Berlin, Barcelona will host the 2026 event, thirteen years after the last Catalan edition.

While the 2025 edition of Fespa has just opened its doors in Berlin, Germany, the organizers have set the next event for large-format printing, signage, personalization and textiles for Barcelona in 2026. From May 19 to 22, the Fira de Barcelona will host the four trade shows now organized in parallel: Fespa Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, Personalisation Experience and Sportswear Pro.

The choice of the Spanish city marks a return to Southern Europe, thirteen years after the last Catalan edition and sixteen years after the cancellation of the one planned for Madrid in 2020. "We are delighted to return to this dynamic region, where we have strong links with the specialist printing markets in Spain and Portugal." says Michael Ryan, Head of Fespa Global Print Expo.

Fira de Barcelona previously hosted Fespa in 2012. Easily accessible, the venue is renowned for its ability to host major international trade shows. It is one of Spain's leading exhibition centers.

Enriched format for Fespa 2026

As in 2025, the 2026 edition will bring together the three now co-located events, but it will also see the return of the Sportswear Pro show, dedicated to sportswear. The latter, launched in 2020 and then put on hold, will be held for the second time as part of the FESPA program.

Other events include the World Wrap Masters covering competition and the Club Fespa meetings, well known to the international large-format print and visual communications community.

Further details of the 2026 program will be revealed at the end of the current edition, which runs until May 9 at Messe Berlin.
