Gross profit reached $82 million, a 61% increase, while operating EBITDA totaled $36 million, four times the amount reported in the second quarter of 2025. Kodak also returned to net income under U.S. accounting standards, at $17 million, after posting a loss a year earlier.
The printing business generated $195 million in revenue, up 10%, while the Advanced Materials & Chemicals division posted 40% growth, reaching $105 million. According to Kodak, this growth is driven by higher volumes, improved pricing, and gains in operational efficiency, despite the continued rise in the costs of silver and aluminum. The company now plans to increase its investment in research and development to support the growth of its commercial printing and advanced materials businesses.
