The company CN Industrie, specialized in doming, bought the company Etik 3D, also specialized in doming. Doming is a transparent resin that is generally applied on a label and which provides a layer of 1.5 mm to 2 mm with a slightly domed effect. It can be applied in all fields of activity where there is marking.
A rapprochement in response to the health crisis
Clément Neyrial, the manager of CN Industrie explains how the coronavirus crisis was at the origin of this acquisition :
"? We have been working together for the past ten years or so in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. To face the current economic situation, we have chosen to go further with this acquisition. Our Doming volumes thus accumulated clearly reinforce our position as leader in the market of embossed logos and mainly Doming.?»
The two companies, each of which had to cope with a drop in activity in 2020, will thus be able, by combining volumes, to make a profit on one activity. All Etik 3D's activity and equipment have been repatriated to the CN Industrie site in Brioude in Auvergne (43). However, the operation does not include the takeover of the employees. The director of Etik 3D, who accompanies CN Industrie during the transition, has decided to change sector of activity.
As far as the machine park is concerned, CN Industrie, which already had 3 automatic lines, a simple automatic machine, and a manual machine, now benefits from an additional simple automatic machine.
A photovoltaic power plant to be almost energy self-sufficient
Since 2017, CN Industrie has been equipped with a 104KWp photovoltaic power plant (on the roof and in the car park) coupled with a 95KWh high-capacity storage battery, which allows it to be almost energy self-sufficient (80% self-sufficient).
CN Industrie which is specialized in doming since 2008 has 13 employees today. The company works as a subcontractor for professionals in the graphic arts (screen printers, printers, pad printers, etc.).
