The Xeikon CX300

Designed to achieve a high utilization rate, this first press of the Cheetah 2.0 generation is versatile, scalable and connected.

Xeikon today launches a new high-end dry toner digital label press, the Xeikon CX300. The Xeikon CX300 CMYK plus white is the first press with the Cheetah 2.0 platform.

"The Xeikon CX300 is designed to achieve the highest possible Synthetic Efficiency Ratio (SER), allowing for an exceptionally wide range of applications, and is even more productive than the first generation Xeikon CX3 Cheetah presses, which are already extremely popular says Filip Weymans, Xeikon's Vice President of Marketing.

The Xeikon CX300 is an upgradeable label press with a width of 330 mm and a production capacity of 50,000 m (660,000 ft) 2 per month for a single shift, depending on the manufacturer. This press is equipped with five printing units, CMYK and single pass opaque white, but can be configured with special inks such as security inks.

Cheetah 2.0 technology collects machine data, allowing real-time analysis of press performance to improve TRS.

The Xeikon CX300, designed for a wide range of markets

The dry toner press is designed for the high-volume self-adhesive label markets such as food and pharmaceuticals, but also for markets using delicate substrates (e.g. structured natural papers) such as the wine and spirits, craft beer and luxury goods industries.
The manufacturer also recommends this printing machine for the production of thermotransfer labels, overmoulded labels, stick-on labels and wrap-around labels. Equipped with Xeikon's fleXflow process, the CX300 can also produce flexible pouches.

"The Xeikon CX300 can be considered the cornerstone of digital label production." according to Filip Weymans. "Its integrated technologies enable label converters to meet the current and future demands of the industry: connectivity, responsiveness, flexibility and scalability. We believe that the Xeikon CX300 can be a valuable addition to any label shop, and act as the spark to create an unparalleled scanning process for the industry"

The Xeikon CX300 is available from April 2020.
