Drupa 2024: what's in store for Flint and Xeikon?

Xeikon and Flint join forces at Drupa 2024, showcasing their latest printing solutions covering a wide range of applications, from the LX3000 press to EkoCure ink technology.

Digital press manufacturer Xeikon and its subsidiary Flint Group, which produces inks and coatings for printing and packaging, will be sharing a stand at Drupa 2024, held in Düsseldorf from Tuesday May 28 to Friday June 7. Xeikon will be taking advantage of this major graphic arts event to launch the PX3300HD UV inkjet label press, and to present their latest innovations together with Flint.

Xeikon will be demonstrating three printing presses: its the Lion LX3000 five-color dry toner press launched last year and developed for mass production of food labels, the TX500 press for flexible packaging featuring Titon technology, designed to combine the advantages of UV inkjet and electrophotographic toner, and the latest addition to the Panther range, the PX3300HD UV inkjet label press.
Visit Xeikon PX3300HD 5-color, 330 mm wide, reaches speeds of up to 70 m/min, even with high opacity white, and offers 1200 DPI resolution.

Visitors can also discover the Idera digital press for printing on corrugated board, via a digital presentation.

Flint printing inks and varnishes for all applications

For narrow web printers, Flint will present its Evolution deinking primer and OPV overprint varnish, designed to enhance packaging durability and improve material yield during the recycling process.
For UV flexo label printers, EkoCure Ancora will also be presented, an ink technology certified for food contact materials (FCM) with dual-curing capabilities.
And in digital label printing, Flint is planning a range of DigiCoat varnishes compatible with HP Indigo, inkjet and Xeikon printing technologies).

For converters of offset folding cartons, Flint Group will present the he all-new Novasens P670 Prime series of low-odour, low-migration sheetfed inks launched at the beginning of the year.

Flexible packaging printers can explore the OneCode range of solvent-based inks and varnishes.

Paper and board printers will discover the new TerraCode Bio water-based extender and coating technology, designed to support printers' sustainability objectives.

Finally, visitors will be able to find out more about the dayGraphica printing blankets to be launched shortly.
