HP Indigo CEO leaves the group after 25 years

A disagreement with the parent company over the reorganization of HP's Indigo Printing Technology Division could be the reason for this change.

Alon Bar-Shany, HP Indigo's managing director for 15 years, announced to his employees on 9 June that he was leaving the company, according to the Israeli technology newspaper Ctech . This departure would be based on deep disagreement over the reorganization of the group, with Alon Bar-Shany opposing it. The parent company, HP Inc, did confirm that Alon Bar-Shany was leaving the group after 25 years in the company, but did not comment on the reasons.

Alon Bar-Shany will be replaced by Haim Levit, current director WW Go-To-Market Graphic Arts at HP Indigo.
"Haim Levit is an experienced professional in the printing industry" indicates HP. He has more than 25 years of experience in HP's Indigo Printing Technology Division, where he has held a variety of senior management positions, from purchasing, sales and supply management in North America, to vice president and general manager of HP Indigo Americas and PageWide Web Press.
Haim Levit, who currently resides in Boston, USA, will move to Israel, where HP Indigo is headquartered, later this summer.
