The brand of sparkling water in the green bottle continues its collaborations with renowned artists.

Starting in October 2020, Perrier adorns himself with original illustrations by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Just as sparkling as the drink, these illustrations concentrate the famous artist's colourful universe: smiling flowers, Murakami's emblematic motif, and his two cheerful characters Kaikai and Kiki.

The two screen-printed glass bottles will be launched worldwide through various stores. Then at the beginning of 2021, the series of two other bottles with adhesive labels will be available in the food and out-of-home consumption channels. These labels will have an illustration on their reverse side, visible through the glass of the bottle.

Murakami, who was born in Tokyo in 1962, exhibits in the world's leading art institutions and has become known to the general public through his collaborations with musicians: he has created a clothing line with Billie Eilish (in 2020), an album cover for Kanye West's The Life of Pablo (2018) and Pharrell Williams' video clip It Girl (2014). The artist, who creates paintings, sculptures and films, draws her inspiration from traditional Japanese painting, science fiction, manga and international art.

"Murakami's dynamism and joy of work marry perfectly with Perrier, a brand that has invested for over a century in creativity to bring out a distinctive brand spirit, tinged with its unpredictable, crazy and original personality" says Paul Cordina, Perrier's global communications manager.

The brand with the green bottle has collaborated with many illustrious artists from all over the world, such as the American artist Andy Warhol, the Spanish designer Salvador Dalí, the French poster designer Raymond Savignac or the French painter and engraver Jean-Gabriel Domergue.
