20,000 for the Getty Images and iStock creative competition

To support emerging creative talent, the fellowship will award three prizes of $10,000, $7,000 and $3,000.

With the creative grant called Definition Future, the American photography agency and image bank Getty Images and its subsidiary iStock will award 20?000 dollars in prizes to three young visual artists.

"By supporting them financially, this grant gives creative young people the freedom to explore, through innovative visual storytelling, what the future may hold, in all its complexity and unpredictability." explains the organizer.

This competition is open to all visual creators who have been working professionally for less than five years. They must submit a work, which can be photography, video or illustration, as well as a portfolio of their work and a description of their intention and inspiration.
Nominations must be submitted by 6 a.m. on November 9.

They will be judged by a jury of visual arts professionals, including Guy Merrill, head of the Art Department at Getty Images based in the UK, Jimena Acosta, curator of the Contemporary Art and Design Department at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, Mexico, and Henki Leung, designer and creative director of Airside Japan based in Tokyo, Japan.

They will distinguish three creators who will receive a prize of 10?000, 7?000 and 3?000 dollars (about 8?500, 6000 and 2500 euros). The three winners will also be able to submit their work to the Getty Images and iStock websites, for which they will receive 100% of the copyright.
