Registration is now open for the 43rd Finat Label Competition. Organized for more than 40 years by the European association of self-adhesive label and narrow web manufacturers Finat, the competition annually recognizes the best in self-adhesive label printing and flexible packaging.
"We invite printers, both Finat members and non-members, to send in their best examples of labels, sleeves and flexible packaging." say the Finat. Applications must be received by the association by February 16, 2023.
Four categories of labels and flexible packaging
This year's achievements will be divided into four main categories, subdivided into numerous subcategories: marketing/end-uses, printing processes, non-adhesive applications, innovation and electronic printing.
Digital printing, which was previously a separate category, is now included in the printing processes category.
The jury, made up of packaging professionals, will select the award winners from the main sectors of use. They will rate the entries based on design and aesthetic appeal, in addition to technical level.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony during the European Label Forum, May 31 - June 2 in Vienna, Austria.
