In this bakery the bread bag becomes a derogatory certificate

Here's an idea that could be emulated by many!

The baker Teddy Rousselot had a good idea, revealed by the newspaper The Republic of Seine-et-Marne If you have a bread bag, you can print the travel certificate on the back of your bread bags. Since the beginning of November, the craftsman at the Saint-Fiacre bakery in Avon in Seine-et-Marne has been wrapping each loaf of bread and baguette with the document required for each trip out of the home.

The idea came to him when he noticed that some of his clients, mainly elderly people, had difficulty accessing the official document to be filled out.

"We printed 20?000 copies, which is about two months' worth of sales." says the craftsman, who acknowledges a significant additional cost for this extra printing on the back.

And it's a success. In addition to extensive media coverage, the bags are very popular with bakery customers and Internet users. In terms of figures, it is impossible to determine the impact on sales due to the incomparable period, "especially since in the first lockdown we won the title of best classic baguette in the Seine-and-Marne?!" says the talented baker.

During the first confinement, last March, initiatives were multiplied to offer this precious sesame in different forms. The written press had devoted full pages to this document to be filled in ( The regional press mobilized to provide the travel certificate ) and several printing plants distributed the certificate ( All over France, printers are offering their services ).
