Four acquisitions for the label manufacturer Inessens (11)

The group of nine entities expects to double its turnover within five years.

The manufacturer of labels for the wine, spirits and food markets, Inessens is entering the premium cosmetics market. Based in Montreal in the Aude region, Inessens composed of five production sites took over, last February, four companies specialized in labels, cases and olfactory communication tools used by the cosmetics and perfumery sector.

The group, created in 1996, has expanded with the addition of Etiquettes de Provence - located in Vallauris in the Alpes-Maritimes, the TLS and Art & Sens printing works - both located in Grasse in the Alpes-Maritimes, and Etiquettes Michel Haas - located in Fontainebleau in Seine-et-Marne.
These four new entities have a combined turnover of 13.6 million euros, bringing the group's sales to 55 million euros for a workforce of 300 people.

100 million euros in turnover within five years

"Growing in order to buy out a competitor who is doing the same thing as you, and thus have a greater upstream or downstream influence on the market, does not make you smarter and does not ultimately create any added value, explains Eric Groshens, founder of Inessens .
On the contrary, it often destroys wealth through the loss of essential values, because the main topics are no longer innovation, the customer, but cost reduction and margin rates.
On the other hand, succeeding in bringing together companies and people from different cultures and sometimes with different types of products is exciting and enriching for everyone. Keeping and relying on the best of each one allows us to enrich the offer and the means at the service of our customers"

Today with these nine entities, Inessens aims to reach a turnover of 100 million euros within five years. "But we'll always refuse to grow for the sake of growing." emphasizes the leader. "Our growth drivers, whether organic or in external growth operations that we may carry out, will always have only one motivation: 'To share and create value by bringing even more to our customers'
