The Prenant Group and fP Mercure printing works had officially announced their investment in Landa Digital Printing's nanographic printing technology. Now a third French printer has unveiled its nanographic press.
Maqprint Groupe, based in Limoges in the Haute-Vienne region of France, installed the Landa S10P B1 double-sided press last December. The offset and digital printer's press prints short and medium runs, including high-quality bound books with variable content.
Maqprint Groupe opted for this Landa S10P press in order to "offer enhanced personalization and optimal quality, enabling it to significantly increase customer engagement" as well as for its ability to print books and catalogs on demand in any quantity, reports manufacturer Landa.
Didier Burguet, Managing Director of Maqprint, comments: " On-demand production is essential, but so is consistently high print quality - and that's what impressed us most about the Landa S10P. (...) In addition to books, we also use it to produce posters and other commercial printing applications. And for these applications, its ability to reproduce almost all Pantone colors without the need for special colors, and on any untreated substrate, is essential."
The Landa S10P has already had a positive impact on the Limoges group's sales.
In March, Landa launches the S11P Nanographic Printing maqprint's new-generation S10P, which prints up to 11,200 sheets per hour. Maqprint's S10P, which prints up to 6,500 sheets per hour (single-sided), can be upgraded to reach the same print speed.
