Spanish papermaker Arconvert is launching a new version of Ipanema White, its self-adhesive label designed for the premium segment. Ipanema White paper is now available with X-Dry technology and SH9020 adhesive.
Ipanema White X-Dry FSC is a 78 g/m² chlorine free textured self-adhesive paper specifically developed for labelling premium wine and gourmet products in glass containers such as wines, liqueurs, champagne, foie gras and oil.
The X-Dry processing technology developed by Arconvert allows the label to retain its appearance even after being exposed to extreme temperature variations (in a refrigerator or ice bucket). "Thanks to the special treatment incorporated in the pulp, Ipanema offers the same performance as a barrier paper in the presence of condensation and humidity, but without the disadvantage of the stiffness given by the barrier" assures the papermaker, a subsidiary of the Italian group Fedrigoni.
And Acrylic Adhesive SH-9020 is a permanent adhesive specially designed for glass bottles and for high-end products.
