Messe Düsseldorf also postpones the Interpack packaging trade fair.

As we informed you last Thursday, Messe Düsseldorf has cancelled the 2021 edition of Drupa . The next major graphic arts event, which is usually held every four years, will take place in 2024 in Dusseldorf, Germany, as planned. Due to various restrictions related to the covid-19 epidemic, the trade fair organizer has also decided to postpone the Interpack trade fair for the packaging, packaging and related processes industry.
The trade fair, which at the previous edition in 2017 welcomed more than 170?000 visitors over seven days, was scheduled to take place from February 25 to March 3, 2021.

"We have endeavored to do justice to Interpack's exceptional importance for the Processing & Packaging industry even in times of pandemic - not least because the industry has shown great interest in such an exhibition and because we have a proven hygiene concept for the protection of all those involved, explains Wolfram N. Diener, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Messe Düsseldorf. But the feedback from exhibitors clearly shows that the uncertainty is too great to organise an Interpack trade fair that lives up to its claim as an international trade fair of reference."

The next Interpack exhibition will take place in May 2023. Precise dates have not yet been set.
