The third model in Canon's ProStream 3000 range, the ProStream 3160 press offers higher output and works with new inks.

Canon, which has just presented the new ProStream 2000 range of digital color presses completes the ProStream 3000 series with the ProStream 3160 press.
Intended in particular for commercial, direct mail and publishing markets, this new 4-color duplex inkjet model, with its 160 m/min speed, is the standard-bearer.

The 556 mm-wide piezoelectric press is the fastest in the range, which includes the ProStream 3080 (80 m/min) and ProStream 3133 (133 m/min).

New polymer pigmented inks for ProStream 3160 and ProStream 2000 "ensure consistently high offset-like print quality at rated output" says Canon.
They are also compatible with a wider range of media weights, from 28 to 300 g/m² 2 (compared to 60 euros 300Â g/m 2 ).

The ProStream 3160 and ProStream 2000 models allow you to "printers to move even higher volumes of work from offset and existing technologies" the Japanese brand assures us.

Owners of 3133 presses can upgrade to the 3160 model to benefit from the new ink set and increased productivity.

The ProStream 2000 and ProStream 3160 presses, already available from Canon, will be on display in Hall 8A at Drupa 2024, the German trade show taking place in Düsseldorf from Tuesday May 28 to Friday June 7.
