Nord'Imprim boosts its digital fleet with a second Versafire LP

One year after the installation of its first Heidelberg Versafire LP, the Steenvoorde printing plant in the Nord department of France welcomes a second Versafire digital press, equipped with the Prinect DFE.
With these two Versafire LP machines, the workshop gains in flexibility and productivity. One of them is equipped with a Plockmatic finishing module, enabling finished products to be produced in a single pass.

A custom-built rotary press for Imprimerie Lestrade

After four years of study and testing, Imprimerie Lestrade is about to take a major step forward: installing a new rotary press custom-designed by an independent manufacturer based in Barcelona.
This machine marks a turning point for the workshop, enabling it to switch from sheet to reel format, with a width of 850 mm - a first for the company based in Cenon, Gironde.
Specially designed for offset printing on thin paper, it meets the specific production requirements of the company, which produces leaflets for industry and laboratories. To support this development, the premises have also been enlarged.

Ingenidoc opts for Canon imagePRESS V1350

Ingenidoc, a digital print shop in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, Seine-Maritime, has taken a new step by replacing its Xerox Iridesse press with a Canon imagePRESS V1350.
With this investment, the company is counting on 2400 x 2400 DPI print quality, increased productivity of up to 135 pages per minute, and extended versatility on substrates up to 500 g/m² 2 .

Polygravia installs Digital Foil technology for the first time in Europe

Polygravia Arts Graphiques, which employs 45 people in Switzerland, has become the first European printer to integrate Digital Foil technology, in partnership with Kurz.
This digital finishing process makes it possible to apply a metallic finish to a variety of substrates without the need for traditional plates, and with a quality equivalent to hot stamping.
Polygravia offers metallization to the luxury goods, cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries for prototypes, as well as for packaging and printed matter series.
According to Pascal Telley, Managing Director of Polygravia, this breakthrough is part of an innovation strategy designed to meet the growing demand for customization and top-of-the-range quality.

A second Konica C12000e in less than a year for Blin printing works

Imprimerie Blin, located in Ombrée d'Anjou, Maine-et-Loire, has acquired a 2nd Konica C12000e digital press, following the arrival of the first just over a year ago.
Following a sharp rise in activity in a specific sector, this 2nd C12000e press completes a fleet of three Konica presses already in place.
At the beginning of the year, the print shop also invested in an Epson SureColor V1000 A4 UV flatbed printer for printing on objects.
And in the coming weeks, the company will receive an assembler to double the capacity of this station.

Imprimeries SB reinforces its fleet with a Heidelberg XL

The SB Graphic group, which includes the SB+, S160, SB Graphic and Arteprint by SB entities and is located on a single 7âeuros700 m2 site at Mitry-Mory in Seine-et-Marne, is expanding its capabilities with a Speedmaster XL 162 5-color + varnish offset press from Heidelberg.
This large-format offset press can print both in offset with acrylic varnish, for classic paper and cardboard substrates, and in UV with UV varnish, offering a finish suited to more creative substrates such as PVC, creative papers or metallized lamination. An investment that opens up new prospects for high-quality printing on a wide variety of materials.

Imprimerie A Réaction switches from toner to inkjet with Canon

To support its growth, the Korus group's online printing company, Imprimerie A Réaction, has acquired a Canon varioPRINT iX3200 sheet-fed press, marking a switch from toner to inkjet.
This digital press, capable of producing 4âeuros500Â SRA3 double-sided sheets per hour, promises offset-like print quality and optimized color stability.
In particular, it will produce the company's new book range.
Installation is scheduled for April, with production starting in early May.
