At the Drupa 2024 graphic arts trade show, to be held from May 28 to June 7 at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, Fiery will be showcasing three new developments in artificial intelligence (AI) in Hall 8B, as well as the latest DFEs and workflow software for the various sectors of digital printing.
Visit Fiery InkWise is an AI-based assistant for ink inventory management . This tool not only predicts when and how much ink should be ordered, but also ensures optimum ink utilization, describes the US-based supplier of digital print servers and workflow solutions.
The publisher will also be presenting a new AI-based work order creation tool which analyzes jobs and automatically prepares work orders, covering media selection, prepress processes, finishing and more.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to enjoy a sneak preview, the next version of the Fiery JobFlow Pro workflow a cloud-based solution that automates job preparation steps, thanks to AI, by improving image resolution, simplifying preflight reports and enabling easy printing by scanning a barcode or using voice commands from a phone.
"We're continually exploring how AI technology can make Fiery workflows as simple as interacting with a virtual assistant. At Drupa, we're excited to demonstrate AI's ability to define print settings based on file content and suggest jobs before the ticket is created. Leveraging AI in the job ticket process helps increase productivity, enabling operators of all skill levels to quickly process a variety of print jobs." says Fiery CEO Toby Weiss.
An end-to-end packaging and labeling workflow will also be demonstrated, from prepress using Esko software to the Fiery Impress DFE, and demonstrations of the Fiery Digital Factory RIP software will be given with DTF printing partners producing a variety of customized digitally printed products.
