South Korean label printing system manufacturer Anytron (Bitek Technology) has released its new any-JET II digital press. With in-line finishing options, it has been developed for the label and flexible packaging markets.

The new any-JET II uses Memjet inkjet printing technology, offering 1600x1600 DPI resolution and custom label shapes and sizes with laser cutting. The manufacturer announces a printing and cutting speed ranging from 3m/min to 18m/min depending on the label design.

Presented as an all-in-one machine, the any-JET II offers functions such as laminating and laser cutting. In addition to label production, it can be used for printing flexible packaging and laser marking for easy bag opening.

Integrated workflow

One of the important system developments promoted by the manufacturer is the integrated workflow "?any-flow?" and the RIP software which allows the control of the press and the laser cutting tool with one user interface. It extracts the cutting lines from the print design when the user loads the design into the system, and the cutting data is automatically sent to the laser to be ready for production. In addition, the built-in automatic job changeover allows users to automatically change their jobs by reading a QR code.

"?Non only this will improve your production capacity, but it will also increase the flexibility of your application. The idea of an online system is that the preparation time for production is reduced by about 10-20%, which can significantly reduce the time in a working day normale?", says Brian Kim, Anytron's sales manager.
