Fujifilm: Arti Grafiche Ancora invests in the Jet Press 750S to optimize production

Arti Grafiche Ancora, an Italian company specializing in graphic arts for over 140 years, has decided to acquire Fujifilm's Jet Press 750S digital press. The new equipment is designed to improve the quality and efficiency of its commercial and publishing output, while strengthening its collaboration with Fujifilm and Heidelberg Italia.

With this investment, the company hopes to increase production capacity and improve print quality. A press to meet the demands of medium-run production

The printing market is evolving, with more and more specific demands for medium runs. The Jet Press 750S is perfectly in tune with this trend, offering flexibility and cost reduction for these intermediate volumes.

Fujifilm's Jet Press 750S is a B2 digital press that boasts production speeds of up to 3,600 B2 sheets per hour, making it one of the fastest presses on the market.

In terms of print quality, it is equipped with Samba print heads, offering exceptional resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi thanks to its 1,280 nozzles per channel. This technology guarantees extreme precision in ink droplet placement, ensuring image sharpness close to that of offset presses.

One of the strengths of the Jet Press 750S lies in its ability to print on standard offset papers, whether coated or uncoated, thanks to the use of a fast-coagulating primer. This allows greater flexibility in the choice of substrates, without the need for pre-treatment.

What's more, the Jet Press 750S stands out for its extended color gamut, called MaxGamut, which enables it to reproduce up to 90% of the Pantone library. This technology ensures precise color matching, with a Delta E of less than 3, guaranteeing faithful results even on a four-color press.

Last but not least, this press is designed to meet current environmental concerns. It significantly reduces paper waste and completely eliminates the plate-making stage, thus reducing its carbon footprint compared with traditional offset presses.
