At the beginning of this year, Jean-Pierre Bonnet leaves his position as national president of the French Technical Association of Flexography, the ATF, to Franck Leborgne.
A member of the association of flexographic printing professionals for 14 years, Franck Leborgne is the industrial director of the Barbier Group located in Haute-Loire and specialises in the manufacture and printing of polyethylene films for industry, agriculture and commerce.
As President of the ATF, Franck Leborgne intends to propose tools and organise events for members once again.
It also wishes to develop exchanges with professionals from the entire graphic chain of printed packaging, by involving brands, students and designers. This could take the form of workshops, training courses, conferences and various other events to enable meetings.
The usual schedule should resume. The ATF will propose technical commissions, conferences on specific industry issues. The next one is scheduled for April 15 and is entitled Strengthening our operational culture through the benevolent prevention of our safety.
The ATF dinners will also start again in June. The association will also organise the Flexostars, a printing competition, the 2021 edition of which will bring together the work of the last two years.
And this year's National Congress should be held in Chamonix in Haute-Savoie on December 16.
A new committee, named ATF 2024, will be created. The members will have the task of carrying out a reflection on the association in order to better define the expectations of the members and the market in general by 2024.
