Changes to the Bobst Mouvent LB701-UV label press

The manufacturer has redesigned its press.

Bobst has redesigned its Mouvent LB701-UV digital UV label press to improve ergonomics. To do so, the Swiss manufacturer equipped the press with a more accessible ink cabinet, added the ability to accept 600 mm diameter rolls and equipped the machine with a mobile control screen. With this new design, a single operator can run the press.

"One of the strengths for which Bobst is known is its ability to never stand still, to constantly look for ways to improve the customer experience, says Erik van Sloten, sales manager for the Labels business. And to achieve this, we rely first and foremost on listening to our customers. The changes we've made to the Mouvent LB701-UV are a result of the feedback we've received from printers and converters, taking their needs into account and being willing to meet them."

The Mouvent LB701-UV is a 190 mm wide digital label press designed for very short to medium runs. It reaches a print speed of 70 m/min, and a print quality of 1200 x 1200 dpi. The machine can be equipped with up to 6 colors plus optional white, with 70% opacity at 45 m/min.

The machine offers the best total cost of ownership (TCO) in its class, according to its manufacturer, thanks to "to a low initial investment, constant operating costs, fast set-up time and high productivity, which maximizes its profitability."
