A CSR approach deeply rooted in the company's spirit
Posson Packaging, a family-owned company, has been in existence since 1942. Today, it designs, manufactures and prints recyclable solid and corrugated cardboard packaging. Following the arrival of a new management team in 1995, the company decided to orient its management policy towards environmental and societal issues. This renewal has resulted in a desire to pass on the trades and to fundamentally modernize the company, in particular by reducing the arduousness of the work through automation and workstation adjustments.
A deserving company in the service of packaging
Thanks to its permanent commitment to CSR and its work in co-development with its customers, mainly in the food and hygiene/health sectors, Posson Packaging has won many prestigious awards. For example:
- 2020 : 2 ECMA Excellence Awards (Cthulhu and Lemoine Cotton Buds);
- 2015 and 2019: Pays de la Loire CSR Trophy;
- 2012: "Energy Pack" Trophy and Packaging Oscar;
- 2009: Carbon footprint award.
One of the company's many challenges was to demonstrate its strategic know-how by helping one of its customers replace plastic with cardboard in the manufacture of packaging boxes.
Labeled "Industrie du Futur" in June 2019, Posson Packaging is now a reference in the sector thanks to its eco-design approach. Representing France in the IPG (International Packaging Group), it has numerous ISO certifications and is classified by EcoVadis in the "Gold" level, a distinction awarded to only 1% of the organizations evaluated.
