20 million in new revenue on the Point-of-Sale Marketing Products Group offering.

POP, a promising niche

Canadian printing and packaging company Transcontinental is announcing more than $20 million in new revenue from its POP business. Following the 2019 acquisition of Holland & Crosby, and the 2020 acquisition of Artisan Complete Limited, both of which specialize in point-of-purchase, large-format, and signage marketing products, Transcontinental has relocated the POP business to "intensify its growth in this promising niche."

Focused on retailers and global brands, the Point of Purchase Marketing Products Group's offering includes the design and production of interior and exterior signage, displays, fixtures and furniture for retail spaces, whether made of paper, cardboard, plastic, wood or metal.

Marcel Courville, Senior Vice President, Point-of-Sale Marketing Products and Direct Marketing, explains:

"The integration of our Brampton operations is an important milestone in our growth journey. This initiative allows us to consolidate our leadership position while creating better synergies between our teams to continue to innovate our product and service offering. As retailers prepare for a post-pandemic environment by reinvesting to optimize the in-store customer experience, TC Transcontinental is ready to help with its creative products and integrated service offering."

The largest printer in Canada, Transcontinental is also one of the leaders in flexible packaging in North America. The Corporation is also Canada's largest French-language educational publishing group.
