Graphic arts software company Global Graphics PLC is now called Hybrid Software Group .

Hybrid Software Group remains a British company, listed on Euronext Brussels. The stock symbol was changed from GLOG to HYSG today, October 20th, at the sound of the traditional bell.

After the acquisition of its competitor Hybrid Software last January Hybrid Software Group is the world's largest provider of enterprise software for digital printing, with sales of ?40 million.

Guido Van der Schueren, President of Global Graphics PLC, states: "I had felt for some time that the name Global Graphics no longer adequately described the company, particularly to the investment community. With the acquisition of Hybrid Software earlier this year, it was clear that we needed a name that reflected the true nature of our business: software for businesses with electronic print heads for digital printing applications."

"The Group's four operating companies - Global Graphics Software, Hybrid Software, Meteor Inkjet and Xitron - operate under their own brands that are well established in the market, adds Mike Rottenborn, CEO of Global Graphics PLC . But it is important that investors and customers see them as part of a larger group with a complete solution for industrial inkjet production. Renaming the company as Hybrid Software Group is an important step in positioning our company."
