Intergraf's competition for young European printing professionals is open

Professionals under 25 years old have until February 25, 2022 to answer two questions to try to win 3000 euros.

Applications for the Intergraf Young Talent Award 2022 are open. This European competition organized since 2017 by the Belgium-based association is a rather original graphic arts competition: the Intergraf Young Talent Award offers young printing professionals the opportunity to give their opinion on issues related to their professions.

"The printing industry needs to hear the voice of the next generation. It's crucial to know what young people's vision is for the future of the industry and what they want from it." explains the European Printing Industry Association.

All young people active in the printing industry - students, apprentices and employees - under the age of 25 and from one of the 19 Intergraf member countries can participate.

The 2022 edition focuses on the environment. Candidates for the Young Talent Award 2022 are invited to answer, in English and before February 25, 2022, these two questions:
- How do you see printed products (graphics and packaging) in the circular economy?
- What is your vision of printing for a sustainable future?

The grand prize winner selected for the relevance of his or her answers will receive a check for 3euros000 euros.

The previous Intergraf Young Talent Award 2021 was won by Rita Estevinha Silva from Portugal. She expressed her views on the future development of printing and the type of working environment she expects in the printing industry in a ten-page article entitled "The Future of Printing: A Generation Z Perspective".
