The Jouve Group changes its name

With this change of name, the Jouve Group has definitively turned the page on printing.

The year 2022 begins with a major change for Jouve. The group based in Mayenne, France, with 1500 employees, is changing its name. The historical printer, now specialized in data management, is now called Luminess.

Founded in 1903 by the publisher Henri Jouve, Jouve printing has changed a lot since then. Jouve has specialized in pre-press, book manufacturing and routing, and in the dematerialization of documents. Today, the company is managed by Thibault Lanxade and is present in Europe and the United States, the former Jouve has definitively turned the page of the printing business in March 2020 .

With a turnover of 100 million euros, Jouve, or rather Luminess, is specialized in digital processing. It offers its expertise in digital document processing with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), artificial intelligence and robotic process automation (RPA) for various sectors of activity, including banking, health, industrial property and the public sector.

In 2021, the group has been awarded a huge contract worth $1.4 billion over ten years to manage the processing of patents for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the U.S. federal office responsible for intellectual property. This is the first time that this type of contract has been awarded to a French-owned company. This contract requires the recruitment of 1,150 people, 1,000 in the United States and 150 in France
