The manufacturer of metallized papers AR Metallizing changes its name

With this change of name, the parent company of AR Metallizing wants to create an internationally recognizable group.

Belgium-based AR Metallizing, a subsidiary of Japan's Nissha, announces that it is now called Nissha Metallizing Solutions.

Specializing in the manufacture of metallized paper and board for the food, beverage and consumer packaged goods industries, the company has five manufacturing sites in Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Italy and the United States and employs approximately 700 people. All of its sites will also be renamed.

Nissha, founded in 1929 and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, employs more than 5,000 people in 66 subsidiaries worldwide. The company produces industrial materials, devices and medical technologies. In recent years, Nissha has acquired several companies. This name change allows it to create a more coherent and recognizable group globally.

"When Nissha purchased AR Metallizing in 2015, it made sense to keep the AR Metallizing name because it was a known and trusted brand in the industry, explains CEO Giorgio Bosso of Nissha Metallizing Solutions . Now is the perfect time to rebrand and add the Nissha name to all business entities. By including its name in all its subsidiaries, Nissha aims to create a more unified international brand."

The name change of Nissha Metallizing Solutions is effective as of today. In the coming days, the company will update the corporate names, website, marketing materials and email addresses of the company.
