Viesus is a Swiss design software with a set of parameters available according to the applications, allowing to automatic correction the potential defects of a visual. Enriched with a regularly updated artificial intelligence viesus analyzes the different elements of the image (landscape, sky, person, etc.) to retouch them independently.
Depending on the type of use, this software proposes, for example, in the context of a sorting, a facial recognition . It detects on the portraits, the expressions, the closed eyes, as well as an estimation of the age. Depending on the brightness level of the original, Viesus adds a "flash-face" only on the face, if needed.
The Viesus offer
Among the many features of the software, Viesus' algorithms focus on various aspects of the visual:
- retouching of brightness, contrast and exposure ;
- shadow correction ;
- skin color optimization;
- red-eye correction ;
- removal of artifacts (pixelation).
Artificial intelligence also manages enlargement of an area of the image by adding pixels and recreating information on the visual, while maintaining optimal sharpness.
The optimization solution for web-to-print
Viesus is above all intended for the correction of a large volume of images simultaneously. Its manufacturers do not present it as a competitor to Photoshop and do not target the artistic sector or professional photographers. However, this very easy-to-use technology, installed directly on a company's server, allows to significantly reduce customer disputes in the case of web-to-print services (e.g. online photo album orders).
