With this acquisition of this manufacturer and distributor, Antalis is strengthening its position in the packaging market.

After the announcement of the acquisition of the German BB Pack last April antalis is continuing its expansion in the packaging market. The French distributor, a European leader in industrial papers and packaging, has signed an agreement to acquire the Spanish group Cohal, a packaging manufacturer and distributor.

Based in Madrid and founded in 1969, Cohal, which employs 60 people, generates 12.7 million euros by producing a wide range of labels and distributing stretch films, packaging tapes and Toshiba and Epson printing machines. Antalis sees in this label production "ample room for further growth driven by automation, digitization and smart label functionality." .
