Alliance Etiquettes does not hide its ambitions. The group based in Bordeaux, which has a turnover of 120 million euros, is starting out in the "conquering the French and international luxury markets" by launching its brand dedicated to pewter labels.
Named Etincia, this brand encompasses the companies Applic'Etains and Etiq'Etains, acquired in 2017 and 2021 respectively. Both are located in Nontron in the Dordogne and together employ 50 people.
Applic'Etains has, according to its director Thomas Lalanne "of the world's only plating line that allows for tin coloring after pioneering the development of a press that allows us to print, stamp and die-cut multicolor labels in-line."
As for Etiq'Etains, the site is specialized in small and medium series of embossed labels applicable on all supports.
With the Etincia brand, Alliance Etiquettes targets mainly the perfumery, cosmetics, wines and spirits, gastronomy and interior decoration sectors. 80% of the final products labelled in tin are intended for export.
Pewter, thanks to its flexibility, lends itself to creative variations. But it is a relatively rare metal. Alliance Étiquettes uses 40% recycled tin (from electronic components in particular) and hopes to reach 100% in the short term.
