The SureColor F2200, Epson's new DTG printer

The SureColor F2200 printer, which replaces the SureColor F2100, is a faster, more practical direct-to-textile printer for medium volumes.

Epson introduces the SureColor F2200, the new direct-to-textile (DTG) printer dedicated to medium volumes.

Featuring Epson's PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads, this direct-to-textile printer is designed to produce complex patterns on a wide variety of textile items, and offers 600 dpi resolution. The SureColor F2200 is also up to 15% more productive on dark textiles and up to 25% more productive on light textiles than its predecessor, the SureColor F2100.

The manufacturer has also improved many features on this model. The SureColor F2200 is equipped with a transparent cover and internal lighting, so you can check print status at a glance.
Thanks to automatic carriage height adjustment, the F2200 requires very little handling. The tray is easily removed and installed by hand to make the adjustments required for printing thicker textiles.

"Although the DTG market has become more challenging as a result of DTFilm technology, our new SureColor F2200 offers start-ups and mid-production companies a highly cost-effective and flexible option that delivers outstanding quality that can be easily upgraded to meet future needs", says Heather Kendle, Head of Commercial and Industrial Product Management at Epson Europe, in a press release.
