Konica Minolta's AccurioPress goes to the next generation

Konica Minolta's three new monochrome printers, the AccurioPress 7136, AccurioPress 7136P and AccurioPress 7120, offer simplified settings.

After its new toner color presses, the AccurioPress C14000e and C12000e konica Minolta is launching the new generation of its monochrome printers for printers and reprographers: the AccurioPress 7136, AccurioPress 7136P and AccurioPress 7120. Succeeding the AccurioPress 6136, 6120 and 6136P, this black toner range offers a higher level of quality, reliability and ease of use, says the Japanese manufacturer.

Like the previous series, the most productive model achieves a maximum monthly volume of 3.24 million A4 pages.
The AccurioPress 7136 and 7136P reach speeds of 136 A4 pages per minute (74 SRA3 pages per minute) and the AccurioPress 7120, 120 A4 pages per minute (66 SRA3 pages per minute).
It also handles media from 40 to 350 g/m 2 these include envelopes and coated paper, as well as textured papers on all three models.

On these new 1200 dpi resolution digital printers, paper catalog parameters have been simplified.
What's more, 220 paper profiles are pre-registered, reducing set-up times and improving print quality.
The optional IQ-501 control module automatically adjusts density and register in real time, and creates new print profiles.

With this range, 728 different processing configurations are possible - the greatest modularity known on the market, according to Konica Minolta.
Among the modules is the TU-510, an in-line die-cutting unit. It can crease and cut a wide range of substrates, from business cards to SRA3 sheets.
Konica Minolta has also established partnerships with companies such as GBC and Plockmatic.
