Konica Minolta launches new AccurioPress C14000e and C12000e toner presses

Konica Minolta's AccurioPress C14000e and AccurioPress C12000e toner presses deliver even, consistent print quality on fine papers up to 450 g/m2.

Three years after their launch and more than 700 sold in Europe, the AccurioPress models are upgraded. Konica Minolta unveils the new generation of its high-volume color toner presses: the AccurioPress C14000e and AccurioPress C12000e models.

On these two new digital presses, Konica Minolta has improved a number of points, such as color management, automatic quality adjustment, a media sensor that enables users to optimize print parameters, and compatibility with EFI Fiery Controller version 2.1.
What's more, the press firmware includes numerous additions and software upgrades.
This new generation of toner machines "enables operators to achieve equal, consistent print quality on all paper weights" explains Konica.

Like its predecessors, the AccurioPress C14000 and C12000, Konica Minolta's AccurioPress C14000e prints 140 A4 pages per minute (ppm), while the AccurioPress C12000e prints 120 ppm. These presses handle paper from thin to thick (up to 450 g/m²) 2 ), embossed paper, envelopes, polyester and more, and their banner mode offers the possibility of printing sheets up to 1300 mm long or 900 mm on both sides.

Commenting on the C14000e and C12000e, Karl Friedrich Edenhuizen, Konica Minolta Europe's head of professional color printing products, says: "Evolutions help customers expand and streamline their businesses. This is made possible by advanced automation, less human intervention, higher productivity with tangible effects and less waste, as well as lower total cost of ownership. By working closely with our customers, we continually help them to rethink possibilities in an ever-changing world, and so create exciting new opportunities."
