After concluding a partnership with software publisher Hybrid Software last March, Fujifilm announces a new collaboration, this time with Swiss CTP equipment manufacturer Lüscher Technologies. Fujifilm will distribute worldwide Lüscherâ??s MultiDXâeuros! and Xposeâeuros! ranges, designed for label and packaging applications.
"This agreement demonstrates Fujifilm's commitment to continue investing in its analog business, while pushing the boundaries of its digital solutions." he points out. "The agreement will bring significant additional benefits to Fujifilm's flexo customers."
With their hybrid technology, MultiDXâeuros! and Xposeâeuros! can be fitted with different types of laser diodes simultaneously, enabling them to engrave a multitude of plates and clichés.
MultiDXâeuros! can print any type of printing form, such as offset, flexographic, letterpress, magnesium and copper embossing plates for sheetfed, flatbed or rotary printing. These machines offer resolutions from 2540 to 10,160 dpi.
The Xposeâeuros! range, which reaches 2540 dpi, processes offset, flexographic and letterpress plates, as well as diazo and ablative films.
This new partnership complements that with Hybrid Software, since many Hybrid RIP options are optimized for Lüscher's CTP technology.
