Three new Landa presses installed in Europe

Three European printers have signed a purchase order for a Landa press, each wishing to use the new printing machine for very different sectors of application.

Germany, Czech Republic and England. Three nanographic presses, these technology invented by Israeli manufacturer Benny Landa will go into production in Europe.

Print direct mail on both sides

Wirtz Druck, a family-owned German direct mail printer, has signed the order form for the double-sided Landa S10P.
Wirtz Druck, established in 1889 and run by the founder's fourth generation, was originally a commercial printer. Today, it specializes in direct mail and owns MailingLiebe, a well-known brand on the German direct marketing market.
With a speed of up to 6,500 sheets per hour, this new machine will replace all other existing printing equipment, both offset and digital, at its Datteln production plant.

Just-in-time cardboard packaging

The second nanographic press was ordered by Swiss-based cardboard packaging company Model Group, which employs around 4,600 people at 15 European sites.
The single-sided press, the Landa S10, will be installed at the company's plant in the Czech Republic, and will produce corrugated and folding cartons for the Czech "just-in-time" and border markets. It will also print variable-data packaging of various run lengths for local customers.

A second Landa to produce books

The third Landa, the Landa S10P, will be delivered to Bluetree Group, which claims to be the UK's largest online printing company.
The 450-employee group already operates its first Landa S10P press, which will start printing various types of product in 2019.
This nanographic printing machine will strengthen its activities in the printing of luxury and flat books, as well as sewn and glued square-back booklet products.
