Sylvain Marchal appointed new president of UNFEA, succeeding Cyrille Roze

Sylvain Marchal takes over the presidency of the Union Nationale des Fabricants d'Étiquettes Adhésives (UNFEA) from Cyrille Roze. This change at the head of the federation marks the start of a two-year mandate with clear priorities for the development and support of members.

Sylvain Marchal was appointed President of the Union Nationale des Fabricants d'Étiquettes Adhésives (UNFEA) at the General Meeting held in early July 2024. He succeeds Cyrille Roze, who has led the UNFEA for the past four years. This change marks a new chapter for the federation, with specific objectives for the next two years.

A career rooted in the label industry

Sylvain Marchal, CEO of AG3M in Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone (Hérault, France), takes over the presidency of UNFEA with a wealth of experience. AG3M, a family business he runs alongside his brother and sister, has specialized in the manufacture of self-adhesive labels for two decades. The entrepreneur's experience on the UNFEA Board, where he has held various positions for over 10 years, gives him in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing the sector.

Objectives of Sylvain Marchal's mandate

The new president has defined several priorities for his term of office. Top of the list is the recruitment of new label manufacturer members. Sylvain Marchal is also keen to reinforce existing initiatives around the recycling of weaving dies, a crucial issue for the industry, in line with growing environmental concerns.

Supporting members on key issues

Among the other priorities of his mandate, Sylvain Marchal intends to support UNFEA members in key areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), environmental labels, Carbon Footprints, as well as recruitment and training opportunities. These topics are increasingly important for companies in the sector, which are facing major economic and technological challenges.

Thanks to the outgoing president

The UNFEA expressed its gratitude to Cyrille Roze, who has chaired the federation for the past four years. Cyrille Roze, CEO of STIC Image in Lyon, has played a key role in a number of strategic projects for the industry. He will remain an active member of the UNFEA Board, ensuring continuity in ongoing projects.
