Eco3's Apogee upgrades to version 14. This new version of the production workflow formerly owned by Agfa integrates a series of tools designed to improve productivity, reduce costs and facilitate the day-to-day management of prepress workflows.
Production dashboard with real-time data
First of all, Apogee v14 now comes with a production dashboard accessible online via an ApogeeNetwork account. This dashboard provides detailed statistics: number of jobs, plates or proofs produced, by day, week or month, with tracking by operator.
For InkTune or Spir\@L users, the table also displays ink savings. This module makes it easy to monitor productivity and material costs using consolidated data.
Paper waste can be used up to 4 times
Apogee 14 also features the PaperTune module. Integrated with Apogee Impose, it helps reduce paper waste. Thanks to an optimized color bar layout, these dunnage sheets can be reused up to four times, significantly reducing paper consumption.
Digital BATs, new functions in WebApproval
In the field of proofing, WebApproval is evolving. Annotations are enriched: circles, lines, arrows or free lines can now be used, with thickness and color control. Comments take the form of discussions, facilitating exchanges between clients and prepress departments.
In addition, remarks in packaging jobs are now visible directly in the interface, with an icon system to identify the pages concerned. Additional files can be attached to the proof (typos, images), and a maintenance mode enables inactive accounts to be cleaned up.
Proofing developments
Apogee v14 also includes new features in the proofing module.
Pantone colors can be defined via CxF data, G7 controls are made easier with the new P2P target, and JobLog tapes are now included in reports.
Calibration steps can be cancelled, and calibration histories can be viewed online. The latest generations of Techkon, X-Rite and Epson devices are also supported.
