The partnership between Ricoh and Kyocera reaches a milestone in Europe. The TASKalfa Pro 15000c joins Ricoh Europe's sheetfed inkjet portfolio, positioned for high-volume, transactional applications.

Ricoh Europe adds the TASKalfa Pro 15000c developed by Kyocera Document Solutions to its range. Already marketed by Ricoh USA, this sheet-fed inkjet press is now available in Europe through the Japanese group's European branch.

This machine is the result of a joint development by the two groups. The Kyocera press features Ricoh's own input and output technologies, including a high-capacity LCT magazine and high-capacity stacking units.

"This launch highlights our long-standing partnership with Ricoh. By combining Kyocera's world-renowned, high-performance inkjet technology with Ricoh's service expertise and market reach, our customers will benefit from new opportunities in a wide variety of production environments." explains Scott Rankin, General Sales Manager EMEA at Kyocera Document Solutions Europe Management.

The TASKalfa Pro 15000c is positioned in the SRA3 color segment, printing in a single pass at a rated output of 150 A4 pages per minute.
Sized for a monthly volume of up to one million sheets, the inkjet press is designed for transactional and direct mail applications (such as workshops in the public sector, education, healthcare or financial services). For Ricoh, the machine can also be a back-up solution in high-volume workshops.

The TASKalfa Pro 15000c uses aqueous inks and has up to 70% lower energy consumption than comparable toner equipment.
Installation is carried out on a standard power supply, with no special infrastructure required.

An optional in-line finisher with a capacity of 4,000 sheets enables the production of folded letters, tri-fold brochures and booklets. The equipment allows stapling sets of up to 100 sheets, saddle-stitching up to 20 sheets, and two- or three-hole punching.

Maintenance is carried out by Ricoh Europe's after-sales service teams.
Demonstrations can be organized at Ricoh's Customer Experience Centre (CEC) in Telford, UK.
