Michele Bianchi (RDM) appointed President of Fibre Packaging Europe
Michele Bianchi, CEO of Italian paper group RDM, which operates eight plants, has been appointed Chairman of Fibre Packaging Europe (FPE), the alliance representing the fiber-based packaging value chain in Europe.
The FPE brings together seven trade associations, representing around 1,500 companies, 2,200 production sites and almost 710,000 employees, with combined sales in excess of 110 billion euros.
"As the new Chairman of the FPE, I take office with a clear conviction: we must now focus on policies that strengthen our European industry. With this in mind, and in the context of the One Europe One Market roadmap that the European Commission will present to EU leaders, the EPF calls for competitiveness and single market issues to be systematically integrated into all EU policies and support initiatives." , said Michele Bianchi.
Etik Ouest appoints Amandine Flamen R&D project manager
Packaging and container manufacturer Etik Ouest, based in Soullans, Vendée, has recruited Amandine Flamen as R&D Project Manager.
Previously, she worked in packaging R&D at food and beverage manufacturer Goûters Magiques, where she was first a technician, then Packaging R&D project manager.
After Malengé, Virginie Morgano joins Bastin-Pack
Virginie Morgano has taken up a new position as Account Manager at printed flexible packaging manufacturer Bastin-Pack, based in the Lille area.
She previously held the position of Key Account Manager at the import-export company Glasdon Europe, after nearly ten years in sales and marketing with another packaging manufacturer, Malengé Packaging at Flers-en-Escrebieux in the Nord region.
Philippe Carteron, Sales Manager, Komori France
Philippe Carteron has moved to Komori France, where he has been appointed Sales Manager for the Paris and Greater West regions.
Having been with the Group for over twenty years, he had been a PESP consultant with Komori France since 2016, after having been an instructor-demonstrator. In his new role, he will support sales development and customer care in his new area.
Jacques Cugnon leaves Hinojosa Packaging Group
Jacques Cugnon leaves Allard Emballages, where he had been General Manager France since 2018. He headed the French operations of parent company Hinojosa Packaging Group, which includes three cardboard mills and a paper mill, with 430 employees and sales of 120 million euros.
Previously CFO, he steered the company's strategy, operational performance and organizational transformation, including the sale and subsequent integration into the Hinojosa group, as well as several restructuring and industrial investment programs.
"I have chosen to devote a period of time to reflecting on the next steps in my career, with a view to becoming involved in high-impact projects, particularly in contexts of industrial transformation, growth or integration," he said on social networks.
Ricoh Europe appoints new Business Development Director
Carl Day joins Ricoh Europe as Business Development Director for the international region.
His responsibilities will include supporting the development and expansion of this region, expanding the partner ecosystem and market share, and supporting the International General Manager in defining and implementing regional strategy.
Carl Day previously worked for Ricoh UK. He then held positions at Toshiba Tec, ACA Compliance Group, Argon Business Systems and most recently at Apogee Corporation, where he was Sales Director.
