One year after the death in June 2019 of Philippe Ravoire, chairman and founder of Inprimis, a new manager has just been appointed at the head of the group. Pierre Leborgne, a former deputy director of a graphic arts company specialising in the management of SMEs and SMIs in difficulty, was appointed on 8 June, reports the daily newspaper The Republic of the Centre .

Two printing works in the Loiret

A major player in printing in the Centre Val de Loire, Inprimis comprises two companies: Prévost Offset, based in Saran in the Loiret region, and BBV Rotoprim, in Ormes. The two companies totalled sales of 3.5 million euros in 2018 with around twenty employees.

For the past year, both companies had been managed by a provisional administrator appointed by the Commercial Court. The group's sole shareholder, Margaux Ravoire, chose to appoint an experienced manager in order to turn around the turnover, which had been impacted by the health crisis.

The drop in orders due to the shutdown of activities in the events sector during containment has led to a 35% drop in the group's sales, specifies The Republic of the Centre .

Inprimis was founded in 2016 by the federation of Prévost Offset, which specializes in medium and large runs, and BBV Imprimerie, which specializes in small runs and digital. In 2017, the group acquired Rotoprim, a company specializing in the segment of carbonless notebooks and bundles, one of the strong points of which is online numbering, which makes it possible to produce the whole variety of notebook and bundle type products, including blocks with very little human intervention. The merger of Rotoprim and BBV Imprimerie gave birth to BBV Rotoprim.
