Due to the containment linked to the coronavirus epidemic, the Grafipolis school located in Nantes organizes open doors... online!
This school specialising in graphic arts professions offers two appointments on monday, May 4th that of 11 hours is dedicated to the printing professions and that of 16 hours in the processing trades .
These virtual open days are aimed at all young people interested in the Bac pro work-study program, starting next school year or later.
For all those interested in a vocational baccalaureate in alternation
In these two 45-minute sessions, the participants will discover the jobs of offset printing press operator and digital press operator (printing) and the jobs related to converting and packaging as special die-cutting machine operator, cutter operator, folder-inserter operator, stitcher-assembler operator..
"We invite all young people who want to learn more about these professions, but also all those who are curious, to participate, explains Christian Bonnin, organizer of these first online open houses. Today, we train students between the ages of 15 and 23 at the school. Some of them have reoriented themselves in our professions after having tested other paths."
Trainer, recruiter, apprentices: graphic arts presented from all angles
At each of these open houses, a trainer from the school will present the training. But to get everyone's point of view, a company manager too (Gilles Fouquet from the ITF printing works in Sarthe and Fabrice Sorin from Cartoffset in Loire-Atlantique) will detail how it recruits for these positions.
And a former apprentice from the Grafipolis school will share his experience, his advice and explain his career path after graduation.
The webinar will end with questions and answers.
"Printing and converting are sectors that are recruiting! We have job openings." stresses Christian Bonnin.
