Epson SC-V7000

Epson launches its first UV LED flatbed sign printer, the SureColor SC-V7000.

The manufacturer Epson announced in mid-September the launch of its first UV LED flatbed sign printer. The SureColor SC-V7000, which builds on the success of Epson's award-winning SureColor S series of signage printers, is designed to meet the needs of today's sign companies that need to produce faster with a low total cost of ownership," said Epson.

The SureColor SC-V7000 will be available from November in Western Europe. It can print up to 2.5 x 1.25m on a wide range of substrates up to 80mm thick, including acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, glass, aluminium, metal, polyester, foam, styrene, wood and stone.

It features Epson Micro Piezo printheads and a brand new set of ten original Epson inks, including grey, red, white and varnish as standard. A 4-zone dust extraction system is supplied as standard, allowing operators to use only the area needed for the print job.

Richard Barrow, Product Manager at Epson Europe, explains:

"?Chaque functionality of the SC-V7000 was designed with the customer in mind. We have added unique Epson features to differentiate and enhance our offering in the signage market. It is a robust and affordable UV LED flatbed signage printer that is both robust and affordable, and capable of delivering fast, quality printing on a wide variety of media. The SC-V7000 proudly marks Epson's entry into the UV flatbed sign printing market.?»
