The SC-F1000, Epson's entry-level DTG printer with white for dark fabrics

Epson's compact SC-F1000 textile printer can print on a wide range of fabric types, light or dark, thanks to DTG and DTF printing.

Epson expands its range of DTG and DTF (Direct to Film) hybrid printers with the SC-F1000. According to the Japanese manufacturer, the SC-F1000 is "the market's first entry-level DTG printer with white ink, capable of printing directly onto dark or light fabrics" .

Aimed at home users, retailers and small businesses alike, this printer prints on a wide range of fabric types, both light and dark, to personalize t-shirts, hoodies, bags, cushions and other textile objects.

The SC-F1000 features Epson's PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology and NVT nozzle verification technology, and works with Epson's UltraChrome DG2 inks. This guarantees "exceptional image quality and stability" reduces yellow and black smears, and the Vivid Color print mode "enhances the richness of graphic designs" epson assures us.

The manufacturer's aim was to create an easy-to-use, touch-screen-controlled printer. Its wide-opening hood should make it easy to place the garment or film on the platen.
Its sensors detect irregularities and prevent printing errors. And the height of the platen adjusts automatically.
Compact, the SC-F1000 will fit into tight workspaces.

"Demand for entry-level DTFilm has risen considerably over the past three years." says Chris Davies, Head of Commercial and Industrial Product Management at Epson Europe. "This exciting development from Epson offers consumers and small businesses an extremely affordable option that delivers exceptional quality and a range of advanced productivity-enhancing features."
