For Christmas, Verpack produces cases and boxes, promotional offers and other advent calendars, the majority of which require an often advanced eco-design approach. Here is an example with the hut-shaped boxes made by the packaging manufacturer for Yves Rocher. The two models named "winter apple" and "midnight berries" contain a range of skin care products in a simple case, with a low consumption of raw materials.
Minimize the amount of cardboard used for inner dunnage
"The challenge was to build a case that was easy to assemble and whose cardboard inserts would guarantee a perfect fit," explains the manufacturer. To provide good visibility of the products, Verpack created a window in the front of the case while minimizing the amount of cardboard in the inner pads.
The conical shape of the roof was made possible by the use of one of the company's latest machines, which allows the production of a slanted bond. A 100% automatic operation that provides real added value both aesthetically and economically," explains Verpack. The case is offset printed and decorated with gold hot stamping, die-cut and glued on the same site. The cases are delivered flat.
