A turnover multiplied by three years! JSB Production, a company with 14 employees, has chosen to specialise in large format UV inkjet for resellers and it works! The printing works located in La Garde in the Var has been growing steadily since the launch of its e-commerce site in 2017. Distance selling now accounts for 80% of the printing company's turnover.
"Of all the players in online sales, we are the only one to offer only large format. We specialise in UV inkjet printing and work exclusively with professional resellers" says Massimo Gallotta, the head of JSB Production.
To accompany this strong growth, the printer installed an Agfa Jeti Tauro 2500 led 6-color plus white and primer in a second 2.5 m wide hybrid printer.
"Growing demand for orders on our online store wowprint.com has made this second acquisition essential." He goes on to say: "Arriving in December, this UV led inkjet press is already 60% busy despite a complicated situation."
For Massimo Gallotta, the Tauro's strong point is its high quality printing even at very high speeds. "It's very difficult to get it on other machines. We have high speeds and the quality must be impeccable (...) The ergonomics of a site and the buying experience are not everything. With us, the customer does not buy screenshots but prints! They are extremely attentive to the quality of printing and execution, as well as the respect of deadlines."
Faced with the beautiful perceptives, new investments in machinery are planned. A third Zünd cutting table as well as a second roll-to-roll press should be installed this year. And five people will be recruited this year, mainly in website management and logistics positions.
