Arjowiggins unleashes its color charts to increase creativity

No more bound color charts. The A6 cards can easily be combined with each other.

Creative paper manufacturer Arjowiggins is launching two new color charts designed to allow for easy color matching.

Designed by the English studio North, these two color charts, one for the Keaykolour range of 48 uncoated papers and the other for the Curious Metallics collection of 30 papers with a metallic effect, are presented in a perforated box containing A6 size sample cards of both ranges.

The boxes are available in 10 colors "to really showcase the richness of the ranges" says the Aberdeen, Scotland-based manufacturer.
Ten pairs of cards per line are printed with identical designs using different printing and finishing techniques such as embossing or gilding.

"Color remains one of the key attributes of any creative paper and is very often the primary paper selection criteria for the printing and graphic design fields." says Jose-Anne d'Auvergne, Arjowiggins' Marketing Director. "This new tool will allow users to approach our paper ranges in a different and fun way by finding new and unexpected combinations that they might not have imagined with a traditional bound color chart. It also uses less paper, making it a more sustainable option."
