"We are adding a new string to our bow!" . David Bachmann, Clément's general manager, is pleased to present his machine, which will be installed in a few weeks in the 12,000 m2 workshop 2 located in Seichamps in Meurthe-et-Moselle. The Aqua 106 Komet will be the first film laminator of the company specialized in finishing, which has been awarded the Imprim'Luxe label since July 2013.
This laminating machine from the Italian manufacturer Ecosystem will allow the 60-person company to offer a new service. In addition to the multitude of bindings (spiral, glued square back, various stitching...), foldings (such as accordion folding, window folding, cross folding, with cutting), the realization of notches and finishing (hot stamping, embossing, embossing, elastic on the cover, etc.), the bookbinder will offer lamination.
"Until now, our customers had to have their covers laminated by other companies and then delivered to us so that we could finish them, explains David Bachmann.
"With this laminator, we will offer a complete service with simplified logistics, optimized reactivity and shortened lead times." he rejoices.
The Aqua 106 Komet laminator from Clément will allow you to achieve different effects thanks to glossy, satin, matte, soft touch or scratch resistant matte laminations.
This new equipment will go into production around mid-May.
